1. Scope and Relationship to Statutory Rights
This Refund Policy applies to all purchases of digital products made via www.arclane.co.
It governs voluntary refunds granted by Arclane in addition to any mandatory statutory rights under applicable law. In particular, this Refund Policy does not limit:
- the statutory right of withdrawal (where applicable), or
- statutory rights relating to the conformity of digital content and digital services.
This Refund Policy forms an integral part of our Terms & Conditions.
2. Voluntary 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
In addition to any statutory rights, Arclane voluntarily offers a 30-day money-back guarantee for digital products.
The 30-day period begins on the date of contract conclusion.
The money-back guarantee is a voluntary contractual benefit and does not constitute a statutory right of withdrawal.
3. Digital Delivery and Statutory Withdrawal
Digital products are generally made available immediately after purchase (e.g., via download link, customer account access, or comparable digital access).
As digital content is provided immediately, the statutory right of withdrawal may expire once performance has begun, provided the legal requirements are met. Details are set out in our separate Right of Withdrawal.
The voluntary money-back guarantee remains independent of statutory withdrawal rules.
4. Eligibility and Decision Criteria
Refund requests submitted within 30 days of purchase are reviewed case-by-case, with Arclane exercising its discretion reasonably and in good faith, based on the circumstances of the individual case.
A refund may be granted, in particular, where:
- the product does not meet reasonable expectations when used as intended,
- material technical issues impair access or use and cannot be resolved within a reasonable time,
- an accidental duplicate purchase occurred, or
- access issues attributable to us occurred.
A refund may be refused, in particular, where:
- there is clear evidence of abuse or systematic refund behavior,
- the request is manifestly unfounded, or
- the circumstances indicate substantial use that is incompatible with a refund request.
There is no automatic entitlement to a refund under the voluntary money-back guarantee.
5. Refund Request Procedure

Requests must include sufficient information to identify the purchase, in particular the order number and/or the email address used for purchase, and the relevant product name.
Where reasonably necessary to assess eligibility, we may request additional information (e.g., transaction reference, description of the issue, or technical details).
6. Processing of Approved Refunds
Approved refunds are processed:
- using the original method of payment,
- in the original transaction currency,
- within fourteen (14) days after approval.
Currency conversion differences, bank fees, or payment processor charges outside our control may affect the final amount credited by the customer’s bank or payment provider.
7. Chargebacks and Dispute Handling
Customers should submit refund requests through the procedure described in this Refund Policy.
If a payment dispute or chargeback is initiated, we may request the customer to contact us to resolve the matter. We will cooperate with payment providers and may provide relevant order and access information where necessary.
In the event of an unjustified chargeback, access to the digital product may be suspended or terminated to prevent misuse. Mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.
8. Effect of Refund
Upon a refund:
- access to the refunded digital product is revoked, and
- any granted usage rights terminate with immediate effect.
The customer must cease using the refunded digital product and delete any stored copies where reasonably possible.
9. Data Protection
We process personal data in connection with refund requests only to the extent necessary to:
- verify the purchase,
- assess eligibility, and
- process the refund.
This may include order identifiers, transaction references, and access information necessary to evaluate technical issues or eligibility. All processing is carried out in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
10. International Customers
Mandatory statutory consumer protection provisions of the customer’s country of residence remain unaffected.
The voluntary 30-day money-back guarantee applies to the extent legally permissible and does not constitute a statutory right of withdrawal.
11. Final Provisions
German law applies, subject to mandatory consumer protection provisions of the customer’s country of residence.
If any provision of this Refund Policy is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
